Its a pretty good pizza had some at a birthday party back in july. I had to ask for a little bit of dipping sauce though, cause i like my tomato paste goodness. The "steak" isnt anything to celebrate but its better than what taco bell calls "steak".

Did you make reservations yet though? You know on weekends they are packed.

are you for real? I consider Round Table sub Dominos/Pizza Hut. Like, barely above Cici's or Shakey's buffets.

Maybe they have different qualities in different parts of the country?

Round table is for sure a step above Dominos/Pizza Hut, both in quality & price.  Maybe the one in your neighborhood really sucks?  The main difference between RT and the other chains is that RT uses much better ingredients.

BTW,I finished a large RT pizza from yesterday's dinner plus today's lunch along w/ 6 buffalo wings.  Is that disgusting or what?

That is the funniest thing I've heard in a long time. A long time.

But that's the thing, Seattle has tons of neighborhoods that are just as much in the know, and don't require you to live downtown. I've lived in Queen Anne, Ballard, and will be moving to Greenlake shortly. That's one of the things that I love about Seattle.

Have you Seattle residents been to Thirteen Coins before?  It's the only nice restaurat that I remember from the Seattle area.  Other than Round Table Pizza, of course.

Distant,

Look at it this way.  If you live in Mill Creek, you'll save enough money for a game each week because you'll be taking the wife out to Round Table instead of some fancy restaurant.

I've been there before with my parents, and it's good and all, especially if you're hankering for a steak at 3am, but far from what I'd consider "nice." The Metropolitan Grill, Palisades, Waterfront, Herb Farm, Dahlia Lounge, etc. are more of that upper echelon of Seattle dining. I'd also like to mention that I'd never eat at any of them on a regular basis, as they're all obscenely expensive. We go there when my wife's parents come to town.

We do eat out once a week (Friday or Saturday night), and love greasy spoon diners like The Five Point and Beth's Cafe, and mid-level restaurants like The Five Spot, Sofrito Rico, Wann Izakaya, Ototo Sushi, Fiereabend, and Rhoti.

Ain't nothin' wrong with Dennys! I used to go there all the time in high school and college! Good pie and ice cream at 2am. It made me sad to see that the one in Auburn was forced to go out of business due to the new Applebees...  :'(

Yeah, I like that it's open 24 hrs.  My family had christmas dinner during our Northwest tour.  It sure beats Denny's.  We went by too fast to really try any of Seattle's better restaurants though.

(I was thinking of Denny's before MAF's replay!)

ROUND TABLE IS FANCY!

When I find the right woman, I'm going to propse to her at Round Table's.  It'll be romantic.

Denny's gives out alot of buy 1 get 1 free coupons to my Dad's company.  At 1/2 price, most of their stuff are pretty good deals.  Actually, there's another good idea.  I'm going to use a buy 1 get 1 free coupon w/a date next time.   :lol

Yeah, it sucks. I drive by this boarded up Denny's every morning on my way to work. It was the one I went to all the time in high school (I live in Seattle, but work in the town that I grew up in).

Denny's is great.  Applebee's is awful.  I'm fond of Uno's and Chili's as well.  And Outback's blooming onion is OMG AWESOME.

I don't know, Denny's is very inconsistent when it comes to quality. All I know is that every Denny's I've been too has been ratty and the food tasted gross...but going early in the morning probably brings out the really bad cooks or something.

BT, you need to come to the Denny's in Puerto Rico, then.  The quality is always great at those places even after midnight.

Red Robin burgers are awesome.  I rank them much higher than places like Chili's.  The strawberry lemonade is awesome too.  Great deal also at 4 bucks w/unlimited refills.  How big is the original Reb Robin?  Has it been renovated since?

The original Red Robin is underneath the Ship Canal Bridge in Seattle, not very far from the University of Washington. It's good size, but probably smaller than all the new ones. It's had some work done to it, but looks very different from the other locations.
