College clubs/groups

So I just checked out the list of groups and clubs on campus. Most of them were pretty standard - African American Students clubs, LGBT clubs, etc. I joined a few just to see what their offers were; you have to join to find out that basic information, which sucks.

Dice_Slingers: Gaming Guild of EMU

EMU Computer Gamers: A place for EMU gamers to talk about games.

The Antisocials: For the Shy, Quiet, Antisocial, Scared, and Isolated Folks

Titans Tribine:  Cartoons, Video Games, Anime, Manga
 
Roommates: Place for emu students to meet others who need roommates


meh. There's this Harry Potter club too lol. I bet you there's some babes in there, but I'm not joining. I kinda thought about making a DS Club, but that would look faaar too stupid. I'd rather join a stupid, nerdy club than start one :lol

Basically I'm only interested in the roommates one, since I'm still looking for renters. All of them seem to be pretty inactive though. I'll stay in the group just to see if anyone contacts me. If not I'll just delete them from my groups list.

Anyone involved in clubs at your school, and if so how is it? I want to go out and meet some people on campus; I was too sleepy to go to the Superman Returns showing on campus last night lol, but next time they have something like that I'm going.

My name is [name]. I'm a transfer student from WCC, and this is my first year here; I might be the only 19 year old junior here lol.

Anyway I'm into videogames, sports (mainly basketball and football), politics, reading, and music. Outside of sports I don't watch much TV, although I'm trying to get into shows like 24 and Arrested Development.

I like watching movies as well. I'm pretty shy I guess, especially around large crowds. But I find that when I start talking to people, I have no problem; especially when I'm talking about stuff I like.

I joined teh college's black peoples club and the journalism club.
