The closest thing to The GIA nowadays is RPGFan, I think. The biggest difference is that GIA had a very classy site design whereas RPGFan's is very garish. RPGFan is also way more fanboyish.

Wait, so Drinky actually did use the Jack Frost name too? Cuz I met Andrew Vestal once a few years ago and I KNOW he's not "Doug Erickson."

He was actually wearing a shirt that said "Jack Frost 2012" on it.

"andrew vestal" has kindly loaned his internet persona out to a coterie of folks we call "the order". same for "doug erickson" -- he got tired of internet shenanigans back in '04, although his one ask was that we keep up the illusion that he is married, has a kid, hates nintendo, and doesn't like teh butt sex. we get a perverse thrill out of referencing his ga review of ocarina of time, though; hope he doesn't find out!
