heard on OA that people outside of the U.S. can also play, they just have to enter the token number. It doesn't check where the console is from.

Yeah, I've only played three matches thus far, but all have been lag-free and at 60fps. I mean, this moves so much faster than what you used to from a console FPS, because 30fps has been the norm. The amount of detail on screen for such a smooth, quick multiplayer match is quite impressive (all the blades of grass, lighting, etc.). It really is the bee's knees. Halo 3 has some serious competition for my multiplayer time come this November.

Damn, it sounds really impressive. I usually just go for either the PC or 360 version but it sounds like I might have to double dip. Since it's running at 60fps, did they have to make any visual sacrifices for the sake of performance?

Looks like texture quality took a hit on multiplayer, but it's not awful by any stretch of the imagination.

I was excited too, but eventually you hit that glass ceiling and it's all "ok, i beat the beta..." then it's time to play the waiting game for the retail

Unlike Warhawk, at least we have something new to look forward to when the retail is out -- like a single player campaign!

they sent mine out less than 6 hours after they stopped taking registrations (around 10:00 PST) but they said they'd send them out for 48 hours after they stopped taking registrations (about 24 more hours).

you could use a silver account and it wouldn't matter (some people in EU used their NA silver accounts to get in), they just don't want multiple tokens for the same person.

Yeah it's pretty awesome. You level up real fast though, around 2.5 hours in I was already level 11, and so far I have a 1.4 kill/death ratio.

I only played the deathmatch though. If you want to get some team games going, I'm down my gamertag is "TheFoxInTheSnow"

I feel bad for CajoleJuice, I saw him playing Puzzle Fighter all night while I was playing. If it makes you feel any better I'm partially color blind, it takes me about 2 seconds to tell the difference from the yellow, and green blocks. I will never be able to experience the awesomness of Puzzle Fighter. :'(

I'm playign right fucking now. My two friends and I played for a little while rotating. We were playing R6:Vegas for a looonnnggg time waiting for the beta to download. Then we ended up playing Bioshock for a while too. They both want 360s now.
