Ugh...Lucas hires The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air & Undercover Brother Writer

George Lucas has been rambling for a few years about his Red Tails movie that he will do after done with star wars (about an all black flight squadron during WWII). It will be his first film he'll direct that isn't Star Wars since American Graffiti. He has finally put it into pre-production with a writer being hired.

The writer isn't himself, good news right? Well he has hired a guy named John Ridley. A black writer, makes sense to hire a black writer for an all black cast film. But.... the guy who is writing Lucas's WWII drama has written stuff such as:

The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air (TV)
Martin Lawrence Show (TV)
Undercover Brother
Barbershop

Lucas's WWII epic will star Will Smith saying "DAAAUUUUM" a lot now I bet.   :-\

I bet Lucas already has Red Tails all written out, but decided to hire a horrible black writer to take credit for it (and earn the guy a marginally better resume while not having the material be out of his league) to make it appear more legitimate.
