The save system blows - there are no save spots other than Security Room that's secure, and to get there requires strength and hard luck!  And what the hell is Dragon Quarter?

Dragon Quarter is only the best RPG on PS2, I guess you wouldn't like it cause it's hard!

re: "secure," Willco is afraid the zombies are going to wander in and del-eat-e his save game when he's not playing.

I'm only like 12 hours in to P3, but it seems possible. P3 has that same mix of "minimalist, yet fun" story/scenario x hard-as-balls battles.

Soundtrack comparisons aren't really fair, though: Sakimoto's best vs. shitty house loops.

IMO, yes--I think he stretches himself a bit further on DQ, though it's still recognizably his style. VS is pretty darn good and atmospheric, but like half the tracks are just subterranean clanking.

One of the best 1P games I've played in some time. Willco, get the small chainsaws off the clown, then get the Enginnering, Entertainment & Criminal Biography books and you'll be able to carry the thing for hours.

It is without a doubt the best weapon in the game. It cuts through zombies like butta! It also cuts through the people you're trying to save, so be careful.

lulz, I only restarted Dead Rising once, and that was because of a known glitch with the Isabella fight.
