Exactly. You don't sidestep the law when it's inconvienient for you; if I'm running late for class, I have no authority to run a red light or stop sign, and if I do I should suffer the consequences of my actions. It's a shame that they're allowed to take advantage of the system, and be taken advantage of by these disgusting corporations.
This won't be fixed overnight but sugarcoating the issue to retain votes is not helping at all. The corporations need to be dealt with, but of course that's unlikely due to the lobbying influence they have with both parties. A "wall" doesn't send the right message, but beefing up border security can still be done.
