I saw Battles in Baltimore a few months ago and it was pretty incredible. Well above my expectations and surprisingly faithful to the material, particularly the drumming.
As for the album, if they'd knock off the chipmunk shit, it would be easier to stomach. They kept it to a minimum when playing live.
