Yeah, Mobile Suit Gundam: Federation Vs. Zeon, and Mobile Suit Gundam: Gundam Vs. Zeta Gundam. They're Capcom developed arcade games on the PS2.

MS Saga is a great little old school JRPG, too.

The ones distantmantra mentioned. There are two really great import Gundam titles, Climax U.C. and The One Year War 0079 (which was developed at Namco before it joined up with Bandai), but you specified domestic stuff.

MS Saga is really cool, it reminded me of Biomotor Unitron for Neo Geo Pocket Color. You basically build your own custom mechs using parts from mobile suits from all the different Gundam series.

Finally beat Heero's campaign. I cheesed master asia at the end by letting him hit me to red, then just flying around in jet form while the super recharged then turning around, blasting him, then running again lol. Normal is pretty hard in spots

Unfortunately it's not in Dynasty Warriors Gundam because it's too strong and would unbalance the game (it's one of the most advanced Gundams ever).

Epyon is an incredibly shit design. Look at it's transformation! It basically bends its legs up so that they become "heads" LAWWWWL. And it doesn't even have any weapons aside from the saber and the whip.

Meanwhile, the F91 doesn't need to transform! It has VSBRs (Variable Speed Beam Rifles) that use energy from its main generator for amazing power, it has a BEAM SHIELD, it has a bazooka, and it has a regular beam rifle, plus two beam sabers (Epyon has only one, huahuahua) and it has a special technique by which it can make copies of itself to fool the enemy as to its position. It is also one of the fastest mobile suits ever (at least three times as fast as the original Gundam, at least as featured in Climax U.C.).

It's a Master Grade kit, it doesn't need paint to look awesome.

Those are among my favorites too! Those are the Groundtype Gundams. I like the Nu Gundam, the F91, the Z Plus, and the Groundtypes (and the offshoot of the Groundtypes, the Blue Destiny units, which only appeared in the Sega Saturn Gundam Blue Destiny games) best out of the Universal Century designs. Oh, and of course the original Gundam from the original show.

And I've seen the Master Grade kits painted and unpainted, distantmantra, and a nice coat of paint makes a HUUUUUGE difference. Goes from looking like a toy to looking like an actual model.

Yeah, they have the full opening songs, that's been one of the big advertising hooks for this one. I stopped playing it...it's good (still not used to how it controls compared to Climax U.C., though), but I kept thinking I was missing out by not having played through 1 and 2 first, so I'm gonna start playing through 1 this weekend and get 2 when the new version with the theme songs comes out in november.

I hope they take advantage of palette swapping to include some custom mobile suits that only appeared in manga or TV specials or that kinda thing (Amuro's Zeta Gundam, Captain Harrison's F91, etc.).
