I think our WoW server is on it's last legs, at least Alliance side. There's always been a population imbalance since BC on our server, as Ravenholdt was jokingly called Belfenholdt, but progression wise we had kept up.
Well I've had connection problems for the past few weeks, unable to raid the past week and only playing poorly the week before with a 4 second delay. I finally logged into WoW today and the GM transfered and the Guild is disbanded, when we were the top guild Ally side(by a large margin unfortunately). I'm not sure how many others transferred or quit, but I know this is the third ally top guild to die in the past few months and things are moving backwards. I figured if our guild died, the server would too and now it's looking that way.
What basically happens is alliance side gets a moderate amount of 70s, makes a big guild to do stuff and be tops, then gets frustrated because there is not enough 70s to do things, gets upset and disbands. Many of the members transfer out and the population imbalance increases because there are enough Horde to keep guilds alive longer.
I feel bad because I know my poor connection helped kill it all. I'm probably the most geared resto Druid on the server, and was part of the healing core, but then our top two priests could no longer play, I couldn't play and we were left with just our top paladins and I know they were failing at 25 mans, which we were one-shotting before. Now the server has gone from SSC and retroverted back to Kara.
ANYWAYS, I am not sure what is up with your guild Goinio, but things might be crappier ally side for a bit.
