I would have personally expected SO4 to go dual platform, SO is one of the more popular RPG series in the US (both SO2 and especially 3 were pretty damn successful as far as US RPGs go), and obviously the 360 is the HD era system of choice in the US. Not to mention, there is Infinite Undiscovery, made by tri-Ace and published by MS, so tri-Ace already has 360 dev kits and experience from that.
I am shocked people hate SO2 and prefer 3 over it... especially Drinky. SO2 seems like the epitome of a Drinky game, with the amount of depth and detail the skills/item creation system have, and having quite a number of large, grind-heavy dungeons.
