Somebody tell me how terrible City of Heroes is.

I have been tempted to give it a try, but I think if I receive some vocal discouragement, the ever-present but now-resting realization that all MMOs suck total ass will kick in and save me the cost of a retail copy and a month's subscription.

it's a fun character creator but the gameplay depth is like

what if your WoW character level curve stopped at 10 and there were no quests

it's fun for like 15 hours

however I recommend you buy it just so you can make a thread with your custom superheroes

I dont recall it being horrible, I just heard end-game kinda sux, but I dunno if you'd get to end-game

I'm not done with it.  I'm just not hitting it every day because I get motion sick playing it.

I will see if there is a free trial of CoH.  Maybe I'll scratch the MMO itch with a trial period.

I tried it, and while creating your character is fun, it takes forever to get powers.

every higher level power is pretty much the same... worthless. 

the game is complete crap.  i wouldn't even say it's fun for 10 hours.  It's fun til like level 10 when you realize that all these missions are going to be the exact same fucking thing. 

Don't do it.
