It's true.  Sorry.  It took him a while. Thanks to the amnesty stance of George Bush Mupepe was able to be a full citizen after being a tax evading illegal for most of his life.

Now that he's got his citizenship, he's working on bringing his six sisters, eight brothers, and forty or so nieces and nephews across the border.  It's kind of inspiring, knowing that a guy who started off as a drug mule crossing the Arizona desert every few months is now a legitimate citizen of the US of A.
