It's just a rumor, but I thought Himuro might like to hear about it:

"On IGN's Podcast Beyond ep. 12 , they have said that Atlus is working on a new exclusive game for PS3 which might be the next Persona. Apparently, Atlus is trying to figure out when to bring out information about the game. IGN said that they're thinking about getting us the info after TGS.

If you've never heard of Persona, it's a hidden RPG gem, even amongst the hardcore gamers. Because of the nature of that, it's not some huge system seller so for the people that only care about sales, this isn't what it's going to be. However, if all you care about is great games, here's another one."

Also i'm surprised their not waiting to see numbers on tc 2 to see if wii would make a good platform, as its got much larger numbers than ps3, espacally in japan, and they could just port over their old ps2 engine and assets.

Persona 3 won't be low. It's by far the most popular MegaTen to be released stateside.

Because tc 1 on wii was atlas best selling game in America.  Even if they are different types of games, they will go where the money and user base is.  Plus as I said they can use their ps2 stuff so they can still make megaten games while the ps3 user base grows to an acceptable level to make games for it.

It's more likely to be the next Devil Summoner, as Kaneko hinted at that. Although, he did say he wanted to put SMT on the Wii, and make it first person again. As long as it isn't a damn action rpg like Raidou, I'm good.

I'd really like to see next gen graphics in a SMT title, particularly as it can come even closer to the concept art.
