I'm about to preorder the Orange Box on Steam so I can get in on the TF2 beta. I'm quickly leaning away buying the 360 version as well due to three facts:
1) I'm about to drop $45 on the Steam package
2) The only person I know buying the 360 version is Willco. (Sorry, dude)
I forgot this one because it's so obvious 3) That 360 gameplay video looked fucking PAINFUL. TF needs a mouse and keyboard.

I will now commence praying that TF2 works on my laptop.

I picked both PC and 360. I picked 360 also because I'll like to see Hl2 on a big screen and there's a rumour going around that only the 360 version will have exclusive upgraded assets for the original Hl2.

I'd be pre-loading, but the Steam servers are too busy. I'm downloading Episode 1 though. I'm glad I didn't buy it yet.

chet from valve over on qt3 keeps saying that they are ready for the demand each time a new big game comes out on Steam, each time it's BOOOM AWP headshot to their servers. They need more capacity to meet the huge demand for their service.

I broke the tie! I'm getting the 360 version to have something that looks close the original experience. I doubt it'll be unplayable since HL2 isn't exactly a twitch shooter and you're only going to be playing against other people who have gamepads online.

My ulterior motive for making this thread was to see how many people on here were buying the 360 version. Now I might just get it. Of course, if it doesn't work on my laptop, I don't have much of a choice until I upgrade.

And am nintendo, TF2 is a lot different than HL2.

I don't game, at all, on the PC. But Portal almost has me curious enough to try. I suppose if I really dig that game on 360 I can grab it off steam later on for the user made material.

I plan on double dipping for the PC and 360 versions. I prefer single player FPS on PC, and multiplayer on consoles.

Dude, I've played a decent amount of TF2. I have the steam stats to prove it!

And I've always said if enough people buy it and my PC is shitty enough (which is really is), I'll get it on 360 as well!
