Screencaps from ENEMY TERRITORY : QUAKE WARS

1080p with 2x anti-aliasing.  I played it with 16 bots.  Framerate is perfectly smooth at 1080p w/max settings but is strangely locked at 30FPS.

Game looks solid but not spectacular.  Kinda like a high-res Resistance.

This game would probably be annoying on 360. Reducing all the controls to a 360 pad, yuck.

So what do you guys think of the visuals?

The GDF sign looked pretty cool.  It would have looked even cooler if it had said SDF.  I'll be 10x more interested in this game if they had a mode for SDF vs XBOTs.

^who's the humans and who's the aliens?

and maf, it sounds kind of stupid to focus on performance this way when it's locked at 30 fps.  unless this is the type of game who's gameplay could never improve from 60 fps.

iirc this is still running on a modified doom 3 engine, so limiting it to 30 fps is probably a good idea lol doom 3

I don't particularly care for PC gaming though.  I was just wondering if ID made a really fucked up engine?

It's good for an elder scrolls game but not for an RPG.

WHAT
it's not supposed to be a linear game so I'd imagine you get a lot of points where you're just too powerful for something that should be hard or too weak for something that should be easy.  I never said it was a great game but it's leveling system is the best it can have.

Yeah some parts would be, that's probably why you can always slightly raise or lower the difficulty.

I don't think a 6100 is going to work out but you should just try the demo anyway to be sure.

Quake Wars will be out for the 360 and I'm sure it'll have a decent following on XBL if you don't want to upgrade.
