New details on Infinite Undiscovery: Square-Enix/MS co-production

Tri-Ace developed, SE/MS co-production. Glad to hear that the game didn't suffer a similar fate to True Fantasy Online.

This also probably confirms Star Ocean 4 being on the PS3, since you'd think MS would've announced it today if they had it.

I have a feeling this is going to be one of those token games to show that they've tried to sell Japanese games on the 360.  Then when IU bombs, mostly because of its mediocre quality, they'll just pat themselves on the shoulders for not realeasing FF on the 360 because they "proved" that 360 gamers don't buy Japanese games.

So after IU, the Square-Enix guy comes back out for another surprise announcement... they show off Last Remnant. It's cool that the 360 is getting two offline SE titles, but we already knew about both of them.

You think new IPs will help sell 360s in Japan, even if they're from SE?  Japanese gamers seem very reluctant to try out new IPs, especially when they're on xboxes.

I didn't say they'd sell 360's in Japan, but compared to the original Xbox, it's pretty impressive.

That's not saying much.
Xbox got FF11.

Yeah, you're right.  Xbox 1 had even worse support from SE than I thought.   :(
