Coded Arms anyone?
« on: September 12, 2007, 09:16:03 PM »
I personally realy enjoyed the first game for PSP - the random levels and the weapon level grindng aspect coupled with the great music and bosses kept me hooked.. Infinity mode made me swoon.....Then the first gen PSP adopters I work with all bought it and we played 4 player adhoc deathmatches till our analog nubs bled. It was really as fun as a Halo lan party to us.

Now next week - the sequel hits.

Anyone else besides me looking forward to it?

Some screens ...

Also heres to hoping for online deathmatches with voicechat!!!

looks good, but playing an FPS w/ the PSP's controls doesn't sound too hot.

its like Turok on N64....the 4 buttons (triangle, square, circle, x) move you forward, back and strafe...and you use the analog nub to look....

Abrader's a nice guy but I'm leery of any game that gets his official stamp of approval.

Dont be leary - sometimes our tastes will overlap - sometimes they will not.

Just rent or something and make up yer own mind.

QFT. The control scheme was horrible. They could've done so many other things to make it better.

Even then I tried it but it was dull and bland.

Did you guys try the default control scheme or did you switch it to the turok style I describe above?

The default control scheme where you use the stick to move blo's.

I had Turok on the PC.  It still wasn't that great w/ PC controls.  Turok was one of those early console FPS games that were popular because most console FPS games were shit.

Ahh -

It looks like reviewers hated this.

I will pick up my copy today when I pick up Halo 3.

I missed out on it last week for some reason - I didnt realize it was out when I picked up Growlancer.
