Spider-Man: Friend or Foe Demo

Reminds me a lot of those old SNES titles, like Separation Anxiety, or Maximum Carnage. More cartoon-like.

Why are we getting another Spiderman game so soon?  Most Spidey games aren't even that good.  Is this game open ended or linear?

The demo played pretty linear, like I said in the OP. It's like those old SNES games. It's not based off a movie.

lol, the only good spiderman games i've played were Spiderman on the sega genesis and PS1.
probably friend or foe will be a good one, since it's not based on the movie as demi said.

I loved Sega's Spiderman arcade game.

Early to mid 90's arcade beat-em-ups ruled.

Maximum Carnage was a pretty fun beat-em-up from what I remember.

Don't EVER compare this shit to seperation anxiety.  I got to that part where there's a big orange door and it wouldn't open.

Haha, you couldn't open the door. You're a dummy.

It's like the old games. Nintenho just sucks at games, as you can tell.

combat system sucked.  AI was screwy too, if you fell down then the teammate followed you.

the old games were basically you're traditional beatemup with spiderman powers.  you didn't have to use the same attack over and over again.  you could easily take on multiple enemies and using powers wasn't for scripted parts where you pick up fucking trash cans to throw or whatever.  and you didn't have an AI partner in the old game.  was probably my favorite beatemup.

What is the gist of this game? It looked like spider-man could have villains as his partner. So who do they end up fighting against?
