persona 3. it's the only new game all year that I've enjoyed to a great degree and i seriously doubt any game will top it as of now. people can say lol mass effect or lol lost odyssey but I simply give them da bird.

Bioshock so far. It will likely win the most GOTY awards from the meda because it's fresher than the other big games coming out.

How's Blue Dragon if you don't like grinding? Grinding is the main reason why I rarely play J-rpgs to the end anymore. I just don't have enough gaming time or patience for grinding.

No grinding necessary, it's really easy and casual. Probably more of a negative, but I don't see it that way.

You only have to grind if you want achievements.

I guess it's Bioshock, but I've only gotten a chance to play around 5 hours of it. I think COD4 and/or Halo 3 are going to pass it though. The only other new games I've even played this year are Planet Puzzle League and R6:Vegas (not counting XBLA).
