I liked the demo.  Felt like an arcade game...will probably end up buying this.

It looked really good at PAX and I think it will compliment DiRT in my 360 collection nicely

I'm pretty sure there's a demo on the xbl marketplace. There was like a three page thread on GAF this morning as I was drinking my morning tea full of nostalgia-addled bitching and 30fps crying, along with the occasional sega fanboy who complained about the lack of authentic sega rally music and the off-key of the "GAME OVER YAAAAH".

The only really valid complaints I saw was that the handling seemed really twitchy and loose and that 30fps hurt the fluidity and sense of speed. I'd check out the demo and see how it pans out.

yup, 615MB. i'll snag it tonight.

gaffers are shitting on it because it doesn't have sunny "brue brue skies" j-rock, which they feel is an unadulterated abomination in the eyes of their wacky jappy lord and savior sega.

I'll probably add it my growing list of games I'm picking up this year.  We need more arcade style-racers.  GT and its ilk, while beautiful, are simply unplayable, IMHO.

I actually liked the music in the demo, it's cheesy enough to scream "I'm music from a Sega racing game!" When I get my copy, who wants to race online with me?  :D

I just recieved an e-mail from Gamestop that they're taking $10 off the price for all versions. I paid $60 for the preorder, so I should get my money back next time I stop in...

Demo was very disappointing visually.  Except for the anti-aliasing, it doesn't even look that next-gen.  Dirt has much better graphics.
