great restaurants in your city...

name a great restaurant in your city or name a few.  whatever!

1.  Casa del Pueblo.   The defintion of "holy in the wall mexican place" but omfg best burritos and tacos ever.  you will nut your fucking pants and then fuck the wall with your iron dick.

2.  J. Alexanders.  More or less a chain, but a very nice chain.  My brother worked for them and he came home and gloated about the food for weeks.  Then one night he brought home a prime rib sandwich and i ate it with au jou (sp?) sauce OMFG.  brilliant!  we went there the other day and it was incredible.  the prime sandwich was gigantic but it was 18 fucking dollars!  but omfg incredible!  we also had calimari with imported parmesean cheese.   mmmm  their fries were cut soooo thin and salted perfectly omfg omfg omfg omfg.  the service was incredible too.  all meals are guaranteed out within 12 minutes of ordering.  and they're made fresh.  so awesome.  they never let your glass get less than half full without replacing it.  mmmmmmm

Mangoes: Bethpage, NY - Mexican joint with some of the most amazing steak fajitas.

Waterzooi: Garden City, NY - Belgian-style bistro, with amazing mussels in a variety of different styles/sauces and pomme frites. Fairly upscale, well at least as far as Long Island is concerned...

Thai Gourmet: South Setauket, NY - The pad ga prow sauce is pretty killer, super spicy too!

Santa-Fe Grill: Hauppauge, NY - Large and filling burritos at an inexpensive price.

Mykonos: Smithtown, NY - Excellent and inexpensive Greek food

House of Dosas: Hicksville, NY - Southern Indian vegetarian cuisine... has some of the spiciest food I've ever had... Dosas are these large crepes with spiced potatoes in the middle, usually served with sambar (spicy vegetable soup) and dipping sauces.

Ancient Ginger: St. James, NY - Some of the best (Americanized) Chinese food I've ever had, without having to go into Queens or Manhattan. Really nice decor, too... definitely kicks the shit out of any takeout place.
