This still isn't gonna convince me to buy a Wii. I'm not that interested in the game. Sure I loved the GC one and this one looks good, but I'd honestly rather play Call of Duty 4, Halo 3 Bioshock, GRAW, Gears, and all the other games I missed.

I loved Super Smash Bros. Melee and I guess I still do, and I just don't give a shit about this announcement. Maybe it's the fact that the "play anyone" mode is pretty much fucking pointless. Nintendo fucking blows.

The last game was 60 fps and if you play the N64 one you'll see there's a big difference.  I'm worried about how the gameplay will be.

You can also battle with people you don’t know who are looking for brawls. The most important point here is that you will not know each other’s names.

If you think of your opponent as a simple scarecrow, any psychological barriers may melt away.

Your opponent will not know your name or any information about you, and neither of you can send short messages. There will also be no battle records kept for this mode, so whether you win or lose, it doesn’t matter. Just sit back and play.

Now, while you’re waiting for a match to start, you can kill time with a little practice on Sandbag.

I don't think its that, it's nintendos policies that are the problem, their scared of online pedos and people saying distinguished black fellow, and just other stupid shit.

Online is incompatible with family friendly, which is something nintendo won't let go of.

The thing is functional enough, but yeah it's mostly just Nintendo's fucking strange beliefs.  Medal of Honor is supposed to be really good online for Wii though.  32 players, no friend codes required.
