You can use Burning Gundam from the start, and its the coolest. Im not sure how I feel about Orochi. I played long enough to unlock my favorite character (yue ying) but it just seems like there's a lot of juggling and you constantly have to spam that power move that makes you glow n shit. Hammer guy is the only guy I can really take on multiple heroes with cause of his crowd control, but even then progress is slow going.
One could argue this means you need to level up more, but if that were the case maybe the game should start on easy instead of making me fight 5 minute juggle fights against 3-4 generals. Im just saying that juggling is frustrating to watch, and Orochi is probably the worst about it so far.
Ill no doubt keep it, and keep playing. Im sure as I level up the tides will turn, but im not sure how this title could sell to people who are new to the series, as it seems to make the most glaring flaw in the combat system something you encounter in the first few missions. Yeah yeah, block block. There's honestly too much shit going on. Too many glowy lightning spears sparks flashes people talking. Maybe im just getting old but NORMAL MODE feels like CHAOS MODE. I honestly cant imagine what CHAOS mode is like.
