I am playing through DQV now. I'm at Reinhart. I'm taking a break from P3. 85 hours in and not nearly done yet with that game. Almost done with it though!

Holy fucking shit this game owns.

My hero is now 16 and I'm exploring this brave new world. I'm in a cave where Papas left me an item and my other character is catching up in levels. I seriously am in a fix though, because I have no more healing items and I'm out of mp.

I'm on the western continent and about to head to the southern town to become the THREE SAMURAI

the monster system is fucking awesome in this agme. i though it was cool in 8 but you couldn't directly control your party iirc. I've got me a Pierre (Slime Knight) and Brown (Brownie) <3

I'm getting the fire and ice rings for Flora's wedding. Just got the fire ring.

I'm not sure how much I've got until I'm done but this is definitely one of my favorite snes rpgs already. <3

This game continues being amazing till the very end... aside from that mine cart dungeon that one was a BIOTCH! Fucking awesome game, I loved the volcano dungeon where you get the fire ring, too.

I tried playing it on the PSP (via SNES9X) and it was just way too slow for me :(

Are you using a patched version or something Himu?

I'm using the final DeJap translation. Try it with Zsnes, it works perfectly for me.

Loving the game, but not nearly as much as I loved VIII. I have a feeling that after playing every DQ I'll still like VIII the most.
