I loved it at the time, but I think that was maybe because of the "leetness" factor of owning an import SNES title in the halcyon days of the Internet before ROMs and shit, and because the graphics were fucking killer. The problems with it are that it's a bit too hack-slashy, some of the boss fights drag on forever and ever, the plot takes a nosedive halfway through the game, but it's not a bad game. It definitely feels a lot more solid, and has a lot less glitches, than SOM, even if the dungeon design isn't nearly as interesting and there are no real puzzles to speak of.
