I said I was gonna pre-order at 7-11 or Best Buy, but I'm hella lazy and did neither. So I plan on standing outside the EB down the street and trying to score a LE. I did it with Halo 2, maybe I can do it this time with Halo 3. If not, I'll score a regular. I can't resist standing outside with fellow losers like myself.

I learned my lesson after Halo 2. No more midnight launches. I'll just walk into a store on Tuesday to pick it up - on my lunch break.

If I didn't already pre-order on bestbuy.com I would just roll by my local 7-11 and get one. I actually checked to see if the guy I know would sell it early to me this weekend, but he said they hadn't gotten them yet.

Is Best Buy going to have the game on Tuesday or Wednesday? I'll pick it up on the way from work/school depending on what day it is.

alright, HERE'S MY SITUATION: i've got a collectors' edition preordered at gamestop.com, but it was too late to cancel by the time i found out about the disc scratchy thing, and i'm kind of touchy about that stuff. so today i managed to preorder what is apparently THE VERY LAST COPY of the basic version at the local gamestop. i'll probably just pick it up tomorrow at lunch, though i might do the midnight thing if i'm not sleepy. i'm just going to return the collectors' edition.
