SNK At TGS: Tons of AWESOME shit unveiled. SAMURAI 2 XBLA!!

So let's see if I got everything here:

-Samurai Shodown II is coming to XBLA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

-Samurai Spirits Rokuban Shoubu is heading to both the PS2 and Wii.  This is a compilation with SS1-5 and Tenkaichi Kenkakuden, plus online play and color edit.  No SS5 Special though, for some dumb reason.  You can pretty much bet on not seeing online play for the English release.

-World Heroes Gorgeous (All four WH games, no Ninja Master's which is also fucking stupid, or Aggressors Of Dark Combat included) is hitting Japan in October for PS2.

-Metal Slug 7 is coming to DS.  It looks pretty fucking good based on the screens, but also 100% recycled, yet again.

-The King Of Fighters '98 Ultimate Match is coming to both Wii and PS2.  This game features 3 selectable play styles (so 1 new) and added characters from KOF '95-'97, meaning Kasumi, Eiji, the boss team, etc. are back.  There are also new backgrounds.  This will likely end up as the best KOF ever made, period, since '98 is so fucking awesome already.  Although it will be hard to top the awesomeness that is the PS2 KOF XI.

-Sunsoft Collection for PS2 will feature Galaxy Fight and Waku Waku 7. 

-The King Of Fighters Maximum Impact Regulation 'A' 2 was announced for arcades, running on the Taito Type-X2 hardware.  This joins the upcoming 3D Samurai Spirits game and KOF XII, which is now rumored to be a cel-shaded "2.5d" fighter according to Kotaku.  I don't know if I believe that since SNK previously said it would be a brand new 2D fighter with new sprites.

There's also some gay DS RPG they're making, and another SNK girls dating sim title. 

Pretty much all the PS2 games will have online play, but again...not for the English versions.  I wish SNK would step up and either add online play for the Wii ports, or port these games to Xbox 360/PS3 with online play.

I have Galaxy Fight and Waku Waku 7 on the Saturn. Galaxy Fight sucks, but Waku Waku 7 was pretty fun.

We will never see most of this stuff here in the good ol' USA, unfortunately.  I would totally be down for KOF98 and the SS collection.

And am I the only one who really liked Metal Slug 6?  Maybe it was my lowered expectations, but after my first playthrough, I was ready to put it over MS1 and possibly 2 in the great canonical listing of Metal Slug titles.

Waku Waku 7 is so much better on Neo-Geo.  Much better visuals and no slowdown.

I wish they would have included the Saturn-only Astra Superstars.  That was a bizarre game.

I dunno; because those games are coming for the Wii too, I think there may be a better chance of them coming Stateside than we think.

Did they ever release the updated PS2 version Stateside?  What the fuck is up with SNK USA?  They have all these great games, and they release...
