Hey, remember that time some guy shot House?

Why does nobody care about that anymore?  He walked into a hospital with a gun, found House's office, asked which one was House, and then shot him!  They had a thing about the bloodstained carpet for a couple weeks, then everyone moved on.

Why is Wilson all "you should be worried about your interpersonal relationships" and not "you should be worried about THE GUY WHO SHOT YOU AND GOT AWAY AND WE STILL DON'T KNOW WHO HE IS"?  Wilson is a crappy friend.

In honor of the House premiere tomorrow:

A similar thing happened on ER years ago.  Dr. Greene got fuckstomped by an assailant in the bathroom, one of the most brutal asswhippings I've ever seen on TV - the guy even stomped on his hands.  Never found out who the guy was, although there were a lot of red herrings in the episode.

Only 95% of it.  I'm pretty sure the shooting and the end, when he wakes up and asks for ketamine before being wheeled into surgery, were "real".

The shooting definitely happened, because they referred to it at the beginning of S3, and there was a subplot about Cuddy and House clashing over whether to keep the bloodstained carpet.
