I wish I could go back to where you are. People complain about how "slow" the show is, but by the end of Season 2 you will know so much and have gone so far. Mmm.

People probably said that because the first few episodes of season 3 focused on a small group of survivors, and then there was a huge hiatus so it seemed like the show had kind of stalled out. After coming back from the hiatus though things got OMG WOW.

Lost is the first TV series MADE for DVD. I think critics will look back and realize that this was the first post-TV-on-DVD-sales-boom television show, a show more groomed for continuous home watching than week to week serialdom.

In S3? Checking Wikipedia, you just finished 3.09. Also checking Wikipedia, it looks like 3.16 is where it really gets good, and 3.19, 3.20, 3.21, 3.22 are pretty much a flawless final four episodes. Especially the finale, "Through The Looking Glass".

No. Jacob isn't explained anymore throughout the rest of the season.

Jacob is the only arc in the story that actually bothers me. If not done right, the Jacob thing could turn out to be downright cheesy.
