Asian Halo Woes N' LOLs

So it seems Microsoft went all out; Halo 3 is being localized for a lot of countries.  People who ordered the region-free Asian version of Halo 3 are going to be in for a surprise when they find out that Master Chief will be speaking MANDARIN.  The text and subtitles will still be in English though.

And it appears the Japanese version is going to be the same way.  I'm still planning on getting it locally, but damn if it isn't tempting to just wait and go ahead and order the U.S. version.  I'm still hoping that the J version has both Japanese and English available, but if not, I don't care too much since I'm getting it for multiplayer anyway.
