I might be willing to concede that served from tap is better.  Also, in my argument, I am differentiating kegs from taps by assuming that with a tap, a bartender is serving you, whereas a keg, you are doing it yourself, which means I will eventually be so drunk that I am either a) spilling foam all over myself b) not being able to get enough actual beer out.

Also, Prole isn't even talking about a real keg.  He is talking about one of those Heineken mini kegs that are probably made from depleted uranium.

No shit?  I've never heard this but I've always hated Heineken and Rolling Rock for the most part, but it's ALWAYS been bottled.  And now that you mention it, they did have that sour/skunk taste to them.

Next time I see these on tap I'm gonna try it and report back.

Nah skunked beer is pretty damned obvious. Brown bottled beer actually holds up very well in transport tho so I dont run into skunked stuff too much there. Drinking from a tap at a bar is a good way to to discover what a beer REALLY tastes like.

The Pyramid Ales are really good too, but then again Id rank it from a tap at the Pyramid Alehouse lol

Brown bottled beer is awesome. I've had bad experiences with Keg beer because sometimes the cleaner they use to "clean the lines" can contaminate the beer or you can get glasses that still have dishwasher residue on them.
