I think I got one of my co-workers fired. Shitwit deserved it for taking magical surprise vacation TWICE during crunch time and leaving the team hanging. Dude fucking couldn't code or test shit anyway, good riddance.

Now I'm cleaning up the mess, and oh what a grand and glorious mess it is. I didn't even have time to play Company of Heroes last night.

to give a purpose to this thread, recommend me a quality cognac or brandy to drink this weekend. I turn 30 on Saturday and might have to work then too.

I was thinking in the 150-200 range. Paradis might be a bit over that, but sure I can get something badass for that much.

Edit: eh being easily availble helps. I don't think even my snooty town would have that stuff in stock. So cheap but good is nice too.

I've been here 27 at the moment.  this is really nothing tho.  over the last few months I've regularly been going multiple 36+ hour "days" in a row.  with the occasional 48+ for variety.


listening to Ornette Coleman while you work helps a lot a LOT A LOT.  you should try it if you're not already.

The longest shift I ever worked was like 14 hours back when I was 17.
