Archaic Sealed Heat (ASH) is the next game to be released by Mistwalker.

Worst name ever, but I'm pretty impressed with what they've managed to do with ds' hardware.

It looks pretty good (graphics wise). It'd be annoying if you have to sit through those long ass animations every time you do them. Has there been any info on this game at all aside from "omg omg the graphics in this are great for ds!!!"? It'd be nice to be able to play it without a stylus.

When I'm playing an rpg, my most favoritest of genres, I wanna chillax, not write shit. This isn't like PW where all you gotta do is point and click. in this, it seems you actually have to draw a damn line to target all enemies. That's stupid.

oh absolutely. I just got the idea that you guys were bagging on touch screen controls period. The majority of rpgs would be ass with touch controls. Etrian Odyssey is a nice exception tough, the touch screen is extremely well implemented

Yeah, I like the way it looks.  It's got charm.  Prerendered graphics just say to me "Our game WOULD look like this if we had the juice, but since we don't, we'll just pretend this 2d image is 3d and call it a day."

I thought most of J-Gaffers were pretty nice when I met them before.  There are one or two people that seemingly became total elitist pricks/assholes online, but I don't know if that extends outside the internets are not.  There are people I've met like Blackace, DCharlie, Mr. Singh, and Cormac that were really friendly guys.  Never met Trin.

I never met sp0rsk, but I always get the feeling he has some sort of problem with me or something.  He thought I was giving him shit once in a thread too, which was weird.

A buddy and I have always talked about making a Japan-Elitist parody video with us in different situations rambling on and on incoherently about anime and games and crap, and always adding "....because I live in Japan" at the end of every sentence.  Like I'd be walking down the street, taking a dump, a shower, etc. and just talking nonsense like "Kojima-San's latest game is a masterpiece.  An art form.  It brings about a certain sense of....blah blah blah.  And I know this, BECAUSE I LIVE IN JAPAN."  Or "I have in fact BEEN to Akihabara.  Or 'Akiba' as THOSE IN THE KNOW might say.  There are simply too many GAIJIN around to enjoy one's self, quite frankly.  The don't understand how this country works...flows, if you will.  But I do, of course, BECAUSE I LIVE IN JAPAN."
