Say 'hello' to my new friend

It requires little water, care, and a lot of time outside. Perfect friend, imo. btw, it's name is "Spike" for killing my knee on the way home. =(

I lived in Arizona for about a third of my life, I never grew a strange affection for the cactus.

I'm so bad at taking care of plants, I even killed my cactus when I had one.  :'(

Who knows, mine might die too. I've never taken care of plants before, and was naiive enough to consider an orchid. I was tempted to buy a cactus that looked like a penis with two balls. Very tempting.  :(

Get a plastic cactus. I dont keep plants cause my cat would chew em up. I do have a beta fish. beta rock cause despite any amount of negligence save forgetting to feed the thing, it will survive.

Yeah, they are awesome fish. Pretty low maintenance and it's always funny to hold a mirror up to them and watch them go nuts.

Mine lived for like a year past their average life expectancy. Pretty good.  8)

I had gold fish once, but they died within a week. Hopefully, this won't be the case with my beloved cactus.

I had a cactus in college. When I was making out with my neighbor's girlfriend, I had to use it as a projectile to protect myself from his inevitable assault.
