When I took a screenwriting class a few years back (yeah, I know, shut up), the prof said that everybody in Hollywood loved Jacob's Ladder, so you should say your own script is like it when you're making a pitch.

The book is good, too, a nice little combination of hardboiled mystery writing with horror.

Devil's Advocate is okay. The lead character's name is Kevin, and my name is Kevin, so for weeks after we saw it one of my friends would call me "Keeeeevvvviiiin" in a Pacino voice.
