ok Halo 1 and 2 are still great

Halo 1 - LOOKS AS GOOD AS Halo3. Machine pistol with the zoom sight was an awesome handgun....play it on Legendary and every pin down feels like a hollywood movie.

Halo 2 - Campaign has its great moments - but more importantly, this game brought Halo online.

I have been playing Halo 1 and 2 this weekend instead of Halo 3 - why? I wanted a story refresher...

The result observation? These are the three best video games I have owned in my entire life. They do just about everything right and are king of their genre easially.

I think Killzone 2 will OWN Halo 3 in modes/content - but cant it nail the core satisfying Halo gameplay mechanics that make us want to play the game again and again over and over?

I need to refresh on Killzone 1 - but I dont think its as close.....not nearly...

halo 2 single player got bad quick and was a major letdown from the e3 trailer

halo 3 surpassed my expectation, promised little and delivered.

Planetside on consoles pretty much.

The 'sources' are bullshit though and if KZ2 does anything remotely similar, I'll eat Willco's underwear.

Halo 1 was perfect save having flippers for hands.  It must be a direction humanity takes in evolution; I guess we do a lot of recreational swimming in the future. 

Halo 2's single player was an abomination to the name.  Online was great until I stopped playing it every night, at which point I guess I was no longer welcome to play.

I haven't played Halo 3 yet.

I can't see GG doing something like that AND having it functional.  I mean, if this was something they based the entire game around and that it was hyped from the first day this game was announced, then I would expect to see it but I wouldn't expect to see it done right.
