Eureka Seven rocks, I got volume nine a couple weeks ago, and the Eureka Seven portion of ACE 3 is fucking brilliant.

If you're doing Wheelock's by yourself, you're going to need more than that. You should nab one of the better companion guides and a good latin dictionary.

I recommend this guide. Fills in a lot of the gaps.

I also ordered Latin for dummies at a local bookstore as a second reference. I was going to get the work but but it said it didn't come with the answers -- which were hard to get -- so I decided not to. I'll probably pick it up on the second read though.

I've never looked at Latin for Dummies. Wheelock is the best text on the subject, but without a teacher you need a companion to it. Wheelock is pretty straightforward, and doesn't do much more than go over the rules, test you on them, and move on to the next subject. Since there are a lot of rules, this makes it a difficult text. The guide I listed puts things in context, and gives a good brushup on how things relate to english syntax, which makes everything go along much friendlier.

No, I took Latin all through high school and in college. I didn't use the knowledge after college, so I have been refreshing myself since earlier this year. Things come back pretty quickly, but I find that a lot of things have become jumbled in my head.
