New rumor: Mistwalker working on Halo RPG

With reports that Bungie is ready to leave at a moment's notice, Microsoft has spent thousands of dollars in delivering Halo art assets overseas to Mistwalker so the studio can undertake Halo: The RPG.  Plans for Blue Dragon 3 will be shelved, so that the group and work on a RPG that incorporates the entire history of Master Chief, from his origins in the Spartan-II program to his resurrection on a distant Forerunner colony.

hang on -- perhaps bioware's talent will be enough to pull a story from the wreckage of the sonic franchise, but asking them to salvage halo's story would just be cruel

I would not play this on account that rpgs have tons of cut scenes and that much texture pop-in would make my head explode.

could you imagine a conversation-heavy bioware rpg with character models as...unique as halo 3's lord hood? he looks like hans moleman
