looks like it's using the DW6/Gundam Musou engine. can't wait to try it out.

Ive done the math on Gundam's Kills Achievements:

20 hours i've killed 27k or so gundams. First Achievement is 50,000. So at probably 30-40 hours of normal unfocused play ill hit 50,000. There's still the 100,000 Achievement. Now I like this game, but jesus.

Granted I can go ahead and take maxed out Heero and Wing Zero to the most populated fight and grind, but thats pretty guh. Plus I cant figure out how new skills are gained once you max pilot level.

the achievements are pretty ridiculous, so i just returned my rented copy and am going to play my ps3 import version for the hell of it.

I checked out the Japanese demo for the PS3 today. It was pretty funny to see a bunch of European warriors speak in Japanese. I couldn't figure out what the game was about and I didn't want to bother. Graphics are pretty crappy, like most Koei games. Everything is clean but it just looks like a high rez PS2 game.

well I got a handful of the achievements and thats fine, but you have to be a freak to work for these, even demi said no

Well I will get the ones I get from finishing everyones campaign, but god damn some of the official mode campaigns are hard. I've beaten I think all of the original mode campaigns for the people over there...cept maybe char.

Bladestorm is NOT a Musou game. It's more of a strategy title along the lines of Kessen, from what I know about it.

I didn't like the Japanese PS3 demo back in July, and I doubt adding English will make me like it any more.

The level they chose for the Simpsons demo wasn't the best one to go with. I already preordered it due to my wife's and my love of the Simpsons, and the fact that she'll play it with me in 2-player co-op, but a more straightforward level might have been a better choice.
