I'm surprised to hear that you play sports games, TVC. You just never struck me as someone that would be into sports. Anyways, NHL08 is the safer choice. The general consensus among Hockey gamers is that EA has put out the better game this season.

It has nothing to do with him being gay if that's what you meant. He just didn't seem like a sports fan from what I know of his tastes in movies/games.

I think the consensus is that surprisingly enough EA's NHL offering is the better one this year. The demo was a lot of fun, I think I might add it to my Gamefly Queue.

Are you a Vancouver fan Whiteman? I know a lot of people in Washington seem to root for them. I've taken up the LA Kings as my team of choice since I live within walking distance of the arena.

I used to play hockey a lot when I was younger. I kinda stopped when I was an early teenager because I became a JUVENILE DELINQUENT.

How would it be to pick up NHL '08 if the last hockey game you played was NHL '95? Is NHL '08 too filled with sim-type stuff or is it relatively easy to get into? I was obsessed with the EA NHL games on Genesis back in the day. Although I know that my team, the Islanders, are still probably rubbish in '08... some things never change
