Steam and Live don't mix.  Never ever.

Maybe PS3/PC, but not Xbox 360/PC.  Live and Steam are competing for PC marketshare.  I'm going to get the Orange Box for 360, because all my friends and family will get it for that platform, but I'll end up getting TF2 for PC as well due to the long term possibilities.

even PS3/PC isn't very likely because not that many people are going to hook up a KB/mouse to their PS3.

360--->PC seems like such a natural pairing. Capitalism blows :(

then again, I think EA games don't use XBL servers (if EA gets you on their servers, they can send you spam I think) so if valve wanted they might be able to get the 360 players to play against PC players.  the problem is that I don't think valve made their servers able to work with 360 so 360 owners will probably play on XBL servers, with p2p.

They're only cross-platform if they are both Live, like Shadowrun
