The funny thing is that I usually spend more time with the PSP even though I initially expected to have more fun with the DS.  I sold my 1st PSP after 3 months but its library is so much better now.  I guess I need to spend more time looking for the good DS games too.  It's just a bigger risk with DS games since some of them could look like crap.

IMO, the third one is the best one, but the storylines are all connected (the big final case in PW3 is connected to events from throughout all three games).  So if you're gonna start, you should start with the first one.

I FINALLY finished PW2 yesterday, having restarted it at the circus case when PW3 came out in Japan.  The third case dragged on AND ON AND AND ON AND ON and was so fucking boring, but I finally got to the much-heralded fourth case...

...and found it dragged on in the same manner.     It did get better once

but PW2 was so much of a PW1 rehash.  All of this was done in the first game.  I started 3 and it really does seem better.  It's not like PW2 sucked or anything, it's just that PW1 was a much more enjoyable game.

Well don't worry about it here.  You can say whatever the fuck you want to.  And you know what's funny?  The gaming forum on Evilbore has pretty much never had a problem...everyone behaves themselves for the most part.

I loved the fourth case in PW2, but overall I thought it was a much weaker game than the first one (the only notable additions being Franziska Von Karma and Pearl Fey).  The third game is a lot better since the puzzles are a lot more logical and the cases don't drag...the circus case in PW2 dragged on waaaayyy too much.

I feel kind of cheated, though...the conclusion to PW3 left the series open for another game with Phoenix Wright as the protagonist and then they switched to a new guy for the fourth game.

Oh, yeah, Harvey Birdman - it's in the same style as the Phoenix Wright games and is coming for PS2 and PSP.  But I doubt it'll be as good as the PW games...it's by a completely different creative team.

Yep, the last case does indeed rock. And there is a lot more to the humor in PW games than references to the internet. A lot of the dialogue really appeals to me. Godots coffee talk is generally really good. I cant rememver any exact lines but he goes on how the bitterness of some coffee references something that happened or something. I dunno!
