so i'm having that fucking weird problem that people have reported many times before where only some websites/services work, and others don't. obviously i can get to evilbore and a few others, but gaf, lj, flickr, and last.fm are no-go. also i can't get on aim, skype, or ventrilo.

so how do i fix this? :'(

i used to have this every now and then in the past--and i'd just unplug my cable modem, and replug it after a while, and finally restard the cimputer. it probably reset the settings or something. you could try that out.

so I used myproxybrowser.com to download the stuff and read the e-mails, maybe you could use such a site to access the non-working sites in the meantime

I wouldn't trust a site like that with any information like my email password and stuff though. You never know if they keep logs or stuff like that.
