Sega Rally Revo is better on the 360, fool.  Even the developer said so.

Picking up Folklore tomorrow, I'm not feeling the Sega Rally Revo love after trying the demo.

I felt that Revo was kinda lackluster compared to Dirt.  Still, I'll give the PC version a run since it's only $40 and supposedly runs at 60fps on high resolutions.

Rallisports 2 is still champ.  I wish that MS had made a 360 version of Rallisports instead of Forza.  Does MS own the company that developed Rallisports?

Oh, is PGR4 out in TEH NIPPON tomorrow too?  I'm interested, but I'm leaning more towards Sega Rally...

This week it's:

-Arcana Heart (PS2)
-Orange Box (360)
-Phantom Hourglass (DS) <-- English version

I think that's probably going to be it.  I've got the new Syphon Filter and Sega Rally "rented" on my PSP now too.

Just stop... I dont act like this in real life and I dont appreciate you trying to project that persona onto me via the web. k?

Anyway - thanks for the tips...

1.) Why is the X360 version of SEGA Rally REVO better? I do want the best version.

2.) I didnt like the Folklore demo - the game itelf looks nice from a tech standpoint, but not my cup-o-tea otherwise.

3.) "Why this week? TRU sale, nicca" - I never follow this stuff, but saving money is cool. Whats the deal? Buy 2 get one free?

the 360 and ps3 versions of sega rally are totally identical, and ps3 is actually the 'lead platform' -- go 360 if you want rumble, i guess

I might have to get Sega Rally myself, I'll have to replay the demo.

Just got done playing Folklore for an hour, playing as Ellen, first part is almost identical to the Japanese demo. I'm really enjoying it so far, absolutely gorgeous art design. There's something about the battle system that reminds me of Phantom Dust, too.

I also saw Prole online playing it, I'll be curious to hear his opinion of it.

Developer recommended the versions that supported rumble (PC, 360) because it supposedly matters for this game.  Otherwise, both seem to have about the same framerate.  I haven't really checked to see if the 360 ver. looks smoother as usual since I've already decided to get it for the PC.

edit: according to Gamespot, graphics are pretty much the same but it's a bit more fun on the 360 because of rumble.

You'll certainly feel the difference in the track depending on how torn up the surface is, especially if you're playing on the 360, where the force feedback does an absolutely phenomenal job of differentiating the feel of each surface (PS3 owners may want to invest in the Logitech driving wheel, or wait for the DualShock 3 to come around, as the lack of force feedback is a real bummer in this version).

i like it. like i told maf, it's a "museum game" like primal, where you walk down pretty hallways, ooh and ahh at the art, and engage in simple encounters. the game actually reminds me more of lost kingdoms (i and ii) on the gc than phantom dust, though.

I never played the Lost Kingdom games, they don't do enough to hide the "card game" factor.

so I played SEGA rally REVO on PS3 again and I must say the rumble really does make the difference.

Does the PS3 version at leat have shockaxis support in it?

SONY really needs to get the SHOCKAXIS out in N-america now.
