It's probably like 4 years off. I wouldn't waste your time getting excited just yet. And does the involvement of Jack Black, who's on minute 25 out of his 15 of fave, really merit mention on the cover of the magazine? I mean, we don't even have to fucking guess what his schtick will be for this one.

I loved Psychonauts, too, despite being well aware, and annoyed, by its flaws. I'll be all over this on day one, it's just that day one might not even be this decade at this rate, so I'm not getting my hopes up.

The best thing that ever happened to Doublefine was MS dropping Psychonauts. If Psychonauts never had its funding cut, they probably would have stayed at the teat and never bothered to finish the game. I just hope fate interjects sooner this time so I can play the damned new game before I have alzheimers. Tim has the work ethic of an [insert hated minority here].

Jack Black was funny in Mr. Show, but evidently had his humor gland surgically removed immediately after that was cancelled

I like the Tenacious D HBO show, too. If he would have stayed at that "level," I think his shelf life would have worked out better for me. He's just not a good marquee, leading man, third heat kind of guy. He's a character actor, not a star.

The Tenacious D show was like 6 episodes, and I believe it was even made at the same time as the last season of Mr. Show. Maybe a year or so later. I think they had some writers in common, too. Although the show wasn't sketch-oriented, it did have a sort of Mr. Show-styled absurd vibe to it.

Dude, you need to calm down. I love Schafer, I'm sure it will be fun, but the screenshots really give me a DMC/God of War vibe. And there's nothing wrong with that, since I'm sure it's beyond hilarious.

meh. I love the art style. It reminds me of Psychonauts except evolved. What I've read hasn't been THAT interesting but I think it's because I'm not such of a heavy metal fan to begin with lol
