Atlus's PS2 2008 Lineup - What will it be? Place your bets!

Atlus announced that they're planning on bringing some games out for the PS2 next year, citing its still-active humongous userbase.  The thread on GAF got ridiculously derailed with assholes talking about how Atlus should just port those games to the Wii instead.

Since Evilbore is actually filled with rational human beings, I was wondering if anyone here had given thought to what the games might be.

My prediction:


I would wager that this is definitely going to be one of the games, especially considering they already brought the GBA versions over.  The upcoming Super Robot Taisen Original Generations Gaiden might also be released (though I seriously doubt it'll be in a box set including the two games...most likely they'll be released separately for maximum profit).

In which case I must thank dear Professor Prole for buying a copy of V!  We can only hope...

One that I am sure will NOT be coming over? Persona 3 FES.  Because Atlus pees on Persona fans for the fun of it.

I'd also place a wager on Dragon Shadow Spell of Summon Night 4/5 (i think thats on the way in japan sometime this year)

I think FES has a shot as well, but not till the end of the year at best.

Cant forget Etrian Odyssey 2, and Summon Night Twin Edge as well.

I hope it's not Dragon Shadow Spell, I haven't heard anything really positive about it...Etrian Odyssey - isn't that a DS game, though? The press release stated specifically PS2 games.  I'm sure there's plenty of DS games in the pipeline.

Really?  the game is awesome.  I'll be double dipping if it comes out here, i already own it.  Go search my posts on gaf for impressions.

And yeah i got off of ps2 at the end there into general predictions, prolly shouldnt have but oh well ITS THERE NOW.

Too bad there's like zero chance of any of the PS2 Sakura Taisen games being released by Atlus. The remake of 1, port of 3, and 5th game are all really great and are easily available in Japan.
