Viva Pinata on PC?
« on: October 14, 2007, 12:55:29 PM »
From an intie-vue:

""I think from our point of view, it was interesting to see how the marketing budget was split last Christmas, because obviously everyone knew that Microsoft were publishing Gears of War and Viva Piñata. Yet, so much of the money went towards Gears of War, which is going to sell millions anyway. It was a bit of like, "What about the other franchise?" I think we got left in the wake somewhat. Hopefully with the PC version this Christmas, it might get something of a second wind.""

I'd double dip if I had a PC.

Is there going to be any true 360 exclusive this gen apart from the Mistwalker stuff and Ninja Gaiden 2?

Metal Gear Solid 4 is currently in production for the 360, too. It's going to be released on a 9 month delay from the PS3 version.

What's that continual bullshit about MGS4? Full PS3 exclusive unless of an act of God. Kojima keeps on repeating that it's this way, Che's inside sources also said the same thing a while ago, it's been presented as such at last E3 and TGS, will use nearly all of a dual layer BR-ROM disc, and has crucial Sixaxis-specific gameplay parts, too. STFU, bitches.

And the Montreal Canadians will win another Stanley Cup before a single player Final Fantasy game hits the Xbox 360.

Hey did you guys see those screen shots of the 360 version of Uncharted: Drake's Fortune? They look phenomenal. I might even say that they look even better than the screen shots and videos of the PS3 version. Too bad 360 owners have to wait 9 months for it to come out, though.

why would anybody buy it on PC?  you probably need a decent rig.

and MGS4 on 360 will probably have true 1920X1080 full HD, not this 960X1080 crap.

Viva Pinata is the type of game that could do really well on PC if it's marketed correctly and the game is made to work on all systems.
