That depends on your store. Someone else's Best Buy may have a whole lot more different titles than your Best Buy. Sales associates at Best Buy are better than Circuit City's, too.

At one point in the film, Dante attempted to involve his audience in the story by making it seem as if the gremlins had taken over whatever theatre Gremlins 2 would be screened in. The film seems to be broken by the gremlins, who then engage in shadow puppetry over a white screen. Professional wrestler Hulk Hogan then appears in a cameo appearance and intimidates the gremlins into running the rest of Gremlins 2; this joke was inspired by a similar stunt in William Castle's film The Tingler (1959). The studio feared people might really leave the theater if they thought the film had broken. Dante thus secured the inclusion of the sequence by assembling some people for a preview of the film. When the scene was shown, the real-life audience found it enjoyable and stayed in the theatre. Dante later described this scene as one of the most widely enjoyed jokes in Gremlins 2. When Gremlins 2 made its debut on home video, the filmmakers altered the scene, to make it seem as if VCRs had been broken by the gremlins. This time actor John Wayne forces the gremlins into continuing the film, although voice impersonation was needed since Wayne had been dead since 1979.[3] Notably, a clip from Falling Hare, a film released in 1943 featuring Bugs Bunny and a gremlin, appears in this version.

I went to Best Buy today, and man, Disney's movies suck ass.  I couldn't find 3 movies that I could even tolerate on the buy 2 get 1 free list.

I ended up getting Brothers Grimm (I own every other Gilliam movie, so I have the big collection excuse, plus it's not THAT bad) and Twilight Zone The Movie (I was unaware that this had already come out.  I could have probably gotten it on DVD, but the Blu Ray was right there so I figured what the hell, why not).

Brothers Grimm really isn't THAT bad at all.  I've never understood the vehement hostility that gets expressed whenever it's brought up.  I may be going out on a limb here, but I think it's about on par with Time Bandits, which I don't particularly care for.

I honestly don't think it's particularly bad either, though it is clearly a lesser Gilliam movie.  Plus he claims the studio got its claws into it, so he's not completely happy with it, so I guess a lot of people take that as a good reason to hate on it.  Also:

In an audio commentary on the DVD, Gilliam forthrightly says he did not think much of The Brothers Grimm script but decided to direct it because he had no projects of his own going on at the time. In interviews included on the DVD edition of Tideland Gilliam says agreeing to direct The Brothers Grimm helped him to line up financing for Tideland. The latter film was made during a break in production on The Brothers Grimm.

He did it for the moolah.  But then again that's how Gilliam has to work if he wants to do his own movies these days.  One for him, one for them.

Now that I have a larger TV, I'm suddenly interested in HD movies.  I'm waiting to see the classic movie selections get beefed up before I make a decision about which format I dive into.  Also, Black Friday sales, maybe.

The Seventh Seal is available on Blu-ray in the UK (region free, too). I'm really curious to see how it turns out.

The thing is, Seventh Seal isn't quite an ideal BD movie since it's not widescreen.  I know, it will still be HD and all, but that kind of turns down a bit of anticipation.  I very badly want more foreign movies in HD though.

Disney's Blu-ray releases for Holiday 2007 are Cars, Ratatouille and Pirates: At World's End.

Last I heard, Sleeping Beauty, Nemo and Incredibles are late Winter/early Spring 2008.
