Oh shit. :lol

I'm looking for some good earbud headphones. Any suggestions of reasonable priced ones would be appreciated.

sennheiser hd-555.  $100 on amazon.  The headphones sound great, are very comfortable, and they are well regarded in every review I've seen.

Why not a regular pair of headphones? I thought earbuds contributed more to hearing loss or something?

How do you put them on?
I position them so they're facing up, then hold them while I squish my head between them and then move them up so they're oriented correctly. I can't put in earbuds though.

That's what I heard, I don't know if there's any truth to it. There are regular headphones that fold really small. Those ones that clip to the ear are small but they're not earbuds.

I have some Sony ones that are like that.  They rock.

I need some better earbud ones too. I've got the stock Sony (PSP) and Apple (Nano) ones. Both of them are incapable of outputting any bass.

I got the sennheiser PX 100, they are about $40 on amazon and they sound amazing as well.  They are open style so if someone comes up to you and starts talking, you do hear them (although you may not understand what they say) so they are good for use at work.  Very comfortable too.

I'd recommend against ear buds too.  A lot of recent research has suggested that they can damage your hearing long term.  Personally, after using them for a year at work I have to agree that I felt like it affected my hearing.  After switching back to headphones my ears don't ring when I get home.

Earbuds are fine, but I don't think people realize that with the passive noise cancelling, you don't need to be turning them up very loud at all.  Adjusting the volume to make up for the minimal bass response in most lower-end earbuds probably contributes to a majority of the complaints.
